THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG ... Back in 2002 Mark met with Douglas Day Stewart, the Oscar Winning Director of the Movie "Officer and a Gentleman" through a friend. He spoke with Mark about writing a song for an up coming movie that was already in the casting call stages. The movie was going to be called "Tanners Wish" Starring Al Pacino and Kurt Russell with Kate Hudson also featured. It was going to be a love story with the son of "Pacino" and the daughter of "Russell" getting romantically involved. Needless to say Mark graciously accepted and got busy right away. He started out by reading the entire script before he started writing the song. After the music was recorded he incorporated the singing services of a singer named Michael Adams who was a great singer, but after a few passes Mark felt he was making to much drama out of the performance. So he then called in Jack Russell because he knew he could do it justice and he was very pleased with Jack's approach to the song. Unfortunately the Movie never got released and Mark is still confused to the reasoning behind everything. The rumor was it didn't get the support of a proper budget. So that is the story of this song "Faith In Love" a song that has never been released until now. Mark hopes everyone enjoys the song.
